Tamil Streams India Pvt Ltd respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Tamil Streams app and website (the "Service") to do the same.
1. Our Content Model
Tamil Streams is a directory/aggregator that indexes and links to Free-to-Air (FTA) satellite channels and Indian private local channels that are already publicly broadcast and made available by their respective networks. We do not host, upload, record, or re-encode any broadcast video content on our own servers. If you believe a specific channel listing should not be included, please contact us using the process below.
2. Filing a DMCA / Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and believe that a channel listing or any content within the App/website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the specific channel/listing you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g. channel name, screenshot, date/time observed);
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email address);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

3. Our Response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly review the reported listing and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to it, typically within a few business days.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe a listing was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@tamilstreams.in containing your contact details, identification of the removed listing, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake.
5. Repeat Infringement
We reserve the right to remove channel listings and/or restrict access for any listing that is the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices.
