These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tamil Streams mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Tamil Streams India Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Tamil Streams is a directory/aggregator app that helps users discover and access Free-to-Air (FTA) satellite channels and Indian private local channels that are already publicly available from their respective broadcasters and networks. The Company does not own, host, re-encode or re-broadcast the underlying television content. All channel names, logos and broadcast content remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You may use the App as a Guest, or create an account using your Email address or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's operation;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service;
- Redistribute, re-stream or resell any content accessed through the Service.
4. Third-Party Content Disclaimer
The App links to publicly broadcast channels operated by independent third parties. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the availability, quality, accuracy, or legality of third-party broadcast content. Channel availability may change, be interrupted, or be removed at any time, including at the request of the broadcaster or network.
5. Intellectual Property
The Tamil Streams name, logo, App design, and website content are the property of Tamil Streams India Pvt Ltd and may not be copied or used without permission. All third-party channel logos and broadcast content belong to their respective owners and are used solely to help identify the channel within the App.
6. Advertising
The Service is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. Ads help keep the App free for all users.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tamil Streams India Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including issues caused by third-party broadcast content or services.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
