Tamil Streams ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Tamil Streams India Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Tamil Streams mobile application (the "App") and our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. You can use the App as a Guest, or sign in with your Email address or your Google Account. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google Sign-In.
Usage data. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used — for example, which channels, languages or genres are popular, how long the App is used for, and which features are opened. This helps us improve the App.
Crash and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports and performance diagnostics so we can identify and fix bugs.
Advertising identifiers. We use Google AdMob to show ads inside the App. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier and other technical data to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
Device and log information. Like most apps, we automatically receive certain technical information such as device model, operating system version, IP address, and app version.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate and maintain the App, including login, favourites and continue-watching features.

- To detect, diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes.
- To show advertisements that keep the App free to use.

4. Live TV Channels
Tamil Streams indexes and links to Free-to-Air (FTA) satellite channels and Indian private local channels that are already publicly broadcast or made available by their respective broadcasters/networks. We do not record, re-host or modify the underlying broadcast content; we simply help you discover and access it. No personal viewing history is shared with these broadcasters.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to operate the App (authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising), and where required by law.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data only for as long as necessary to provide the App's features or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.
8. Children's Privacy
Tamil Streams is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Your Choices
- You can use the App as a Guest without creating an account.
- You can reset advertising identifiers or opt out of personalised ads through your device settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
